The
premise that God owns all things is a true statement. There isn't
anything that God does not own. He started this whole place, He
will end it on His terms. I think it would be wise to go along
with Him instead of against Him. You will have a better life. Once
we learn this basic principle, our lives can change if we apply it
to our daily lives. Keep a journal or diary and see how God works
in your life. Read the bible and apply what you read to your life
and believe on Him who was sent to save your soul from hell and
destruction.
This
site is dedicated to Truth, saving souls of human beings, helping
people in need and
teaching just a little of what I know to be true from life's
experiences by what is written in the Holy Bible as the comparison
for absolute truth... God's
manual to living on this planet. I believe the Holy Bible is the
absolute truth. In this present day, many people have been
indoctrinalized and inoculated into believing this lie; that there
is or are no absolutes. This breeds much confusion. How can anyone
ever say that there are no absolute truths. Just pondering about
that concept would make any rational individual
(that will be honest with themselves) realize that this cannot be a true statement. It's just a way out
of taking full responsibility for one's own actions. Or allowing
certain beliefs or habits into one's life with no moral regrets.
It will never be true and cannot be a true statement. Is murder
wrong or is cold blooded murder right? That's just one example of
an argument to this lie.
I do not claim to be anything but
a Christian. A follower of Jesus Christ. I do not place myself
under any denomination's official name, although I do attend a Baptist
church. I am a saved sinner justified by Jesus Christ's bloodshed,
death and resurrection
on the cross for my sin atonement. For if it was not for that, I would be dead in my
sins and go to hell when I die. I would not have the authority or
right to come to our Lord Jesus Christ with my petitions and
concerns. rather I would only have the right to be forgiven. Why?
Because the wages of sin is death and all have sinned and fall
short of the Glory of God.
I have been reading the bible since I
was about 12. Certainly not as I should have and certainly do not
claim to be anywhere close to a perfect man or a master man of
knowledge and practitioner of God's Word and teachings. I try, but
I'm far from that,
which is why I am thankful for Jesus Christ and what He did on the
cross for all of us, especially myself.
Is the Bible still relevant even
2000+ years after Jesus Christ died for all our sins? Yep, 100%. Love is the goal, heaven is the
goal, but a relationship with our Lord and Savior Jesus
Christ is the ultimate
goal.
I have found that God's Word is true weather we believe it or
not. I have lived the outcome in this lifetime of certain
decisions I chose to make that I was forewarned against doing from
reading the bible. Many people would find these things small
ticket compared to some major issues, but every decision we make in
life steers us where we go in the future and course for our life.
I have
learned that it is better to just take God's word for a matter,
rather than to learn it after the fact. His Word is true and will
not
become otherwise.
The opposite side of believing and trusting God is Hell. A
real place of everlasting torment where
the worm never dies. Hell is a place of darkness, sorrow,
mourning, pain, regret, no rest, no peace, uncomfortable to the
extreme 'nth'. It is a place that no one on the earth or in Hollywood
(not even Stephen King), in their wildest
imagination could think up of how terrible, permanent, unpleasant,
painful and unjoyful hell will be. yes it is sad to think about
the fact that many people will be there.
Some of the
devil's lies about hell is that there is no hell, its here on earth, its not
as bad as God says it is or that maybe hell is just a
place of continual partying. He is also deceived himself into believing
that he will overthrow God. The devil's angels even know that that
isn't going to happen. Read in the bible - Luke
4:34 - Saying, Let us alone; what have we to do with thee, thou Jesus of Nazareth? art thou come to destroy us? I know thee who thou art; the Holy One of God.
See also Luke 8:28 When he saw Jesus, he cried out, and fell down before him, and with a loud voice said, What have I to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of God most high? I beseech thee, torment me not
The devil speaks to
us in half truths mostly (like he did to Eve in the famous garden
of Eden), to make the lies sound honest, official and
truthful, but the real truth is
that hell is a place where God is not and will not be. It is where
he will place those WHO CHOOSE by their own decisions to be, away
from God. He will forget them as they requested and decided to
purposefully forget God. They wanted and desired to forget
God while they had life on this earth and the consequence is that God
will honor their request. It is total separation from
God and His love, forever. It is death. There is more in the bible
describing hell than there is describing heaven.
Hell is a real place
that was originally created for the reservation of the devil and his
angels when he considered in his heart to be like God and want to
rule over God. Of
course the devil is no match for his creator and he knows this and
knew this. If he doesn't, his angels (demons) sure do.
Maybe
this is the answer to that smart-alec question, "Can
God create a rock so big that even He can't lift it up"? I
believe He could if He wanted to, but would not, for what is the
purpose? But, those angels that chose to follow the devil instead of
God, (yes they had a choice as we do) are going to be tormented
day and night forever and ever.
Due to the fact that God was
gracious enough to give us humans (His creation) free will (hence the evil that is in
this world), sadly, many nice people who chose to reject Jesus
Christ (the only way to salvation from eternal damnation) will be there
as well. Some believe that this is either unfair or untrue. It is
neither. It is our choice and we all get to hear the Gospel and
decide for our own selves. Some believe that earth is hell because we experience bad
times. Sometimes, extremely bad times in our life. The fact is that no one
promised anyone a good and perfect, problem free and peaceful
life. God never did after the fall of mankind. So if any pastor
teaches you that once you become saved your problems are over, do
not follow him. Yes, DO be SAVED from
hell! But the more we
obey Him, the better our lives will be. Jesus
said that through much tribulation shall you enter the kingdom of
heaven. more about that Below
|
To obey is better than
sacrifice - 1 Samuel 15:22
- And Samuel said, Hath the LORD as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the LORD? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams. |
One thing that I
believe that will happen in hell is the full remembrance of this life. Especially all
the times one had a chance to be saved, all the words they heard
of God giving them a chance to repent and be forgiven and not be
where they are. All the tugs at their souls to obey God to follow
Him and go His way. This I personally think is what the 'weeping and
gnashing of teeth' means, regret. Forever
regretting that they chose to believe the lie or worshiping
the creature more than the Creator as described in Romans 1:25
- Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever.
Amen.
Another
lie that the devil throws out there are the questions; "If
you give your life to God, do you know what He might do to you? Do
you know what He will take away from you? We don't know until we
do it. I know this though, God has never taken anything GOOD away
from me. Sure bad things will happen, this is part of the fall of
mankind when the first Adam sinned and sin entered into the world.
Do you recall in the bible when God was so upset that He even
created us that He repented of it and was going to fully destroy
us all? Thankfully, God is a Just God and spared the lives of Noah
and his family to replenish the earth. By the way, that really
makes us all distant cousins doesn't it?
Many people
who do not know The Lord have asked this
question,
"How can a loving God condemn someone He loves to
hell"?
The short answer is,
He doesn't. He allows us to
choose our own way. He set the rules, but we have full power over
the decision to choose God or our own selves. He plainly tells us
of the consequence of choosing our own way that is not of God. He
has written his commandments on every human's conscience. We all
know right from wrong, no one is deprived of that, although the
current world view and theology is that there are no absolutes.
God
did not create pre-programmed robots without freewill. that is one
of the beautiful things that He gave us, free will. Like
everything, this liberty can be misused and abused and is by
everyone. We all have sinned and fell short of God's glory. What
fun would it be to God if we were all doing noting creating. Can
you see how complex and deep this topic can get? On one side He
know everything that we will do from the time we are born until
the time we die. He knows WHEN we will die and how we will die. He
know the number of hairs we have on our heads. He knows
everything. Then the other questions comes up... then why would a
loving God allow bad things to happen to good people? Again, the
answer is in free will. He tells us not to do things by writing
the 10 commandments on all of our hearts (Romans 2:15), but He
gives us the freedom to choose one way or the other. Bad decisions
made to harm good people happen. It is life. Cant God protect us?
of course and I'm willing to bet that if we KNEW all the times He
DID protect us we'd bow down many times a day with thanksgiving
and praise!
Let's try to look at rejecting Jesus Christ (God's only begotten
Son) from this perspective...
How
would you feel if you watched the people that you
created and had rule
and authority over, break your rules, not care about you as much
as you care about them and actually want them to, forget you and then
reject a powerful, LOVING act of sending your ONLY Son to die in their
place because you REALLY wanted to be with them that badly?
Again
watching them go about their lives that you gave them, (hearing
every word they speak) rejecting that final massive effort after
telling them that if they reject it, you will not be able to be alive anymore, but even
worse, suffer permanent detachment, forever? But if you DO
choose it, you can live forever in glory and perfect serenity.
For
myself the trade off is a 'no-brainer'. Death or life? Hmmmm...
Life for me please!
Jesus
Christ was a perfect man who never sinned once. He did only those
things that pleased His Father. He was the sacrifice offering for
every human beings sins, past present and future. There is no more
atonement for sin other than this sacrifice to God.
Again,
I don't claim to be an expert and know everything. And yes, you
must have faith to please The Lord. It isn't that difficult to
believe when you look at even simple science or how a plant grows
of its own kind from seed. Or how each animals is unique and how
the human body is so extremely complex and perfectly made. We
simply cannot be here by chance or evolution of cells over a
period of millions of years. Believing in evolution (Darwin's
style) takes more faith to believe in than someone telling you its
going to rain gold bricks next Tuesday.
God
Loves you. He loves me despite all our flaws. He made a way out of
being punished for our sinful ways. we need only believe and
accept the grace that He gave and the gift of work of the cross
where Jesus paid our price.
Why
should you, might you believe what the Bible and Christians say
about Jesus?
Jesus
of Nazareth was a real person. This is historical fact. The
same Jesus died on a cross, this is historical fact. There were
over 500, FIVE HUNDRED witnesses to his resurrection. The resurrection
is a credible story that has no way to dispute it.
1
- If Christ's followers would have stolen His dead body
and hid it, the eventually would have said so after a few were
killed one maybe even before ONE person was killed. Who does for a
lie? How many will die for a lie and suffer extreme persecution to
themselves and their family? Plus the soldiers who were to watch
over the grave with the very large stone rolled and locked into
place could have been killed if they allowed Jesus' followers to
steal his body. There just is no reason why Jesus' followers would
have wanted to steal His body. So, that
could not have happened.
2
- If the ones who hated Jesus and the whole Christian movement
(the ones who put Him to death on the cross) had stolen his body,
the plan would have been to have revealed it by now to put an end
to this entire Christianity concept if it were a lie and of no
value. That would be the only motive to do that. But
that didn't happen either.
3
- The Stories in the Bible were told without changing
from generation to generation until it was finally placed on
paper. How many stories can be told by masses without ONE thing
left out or added and for that many generations and that much time
would have resulted in a completely different story. It
stayed true! It has not changed!
4
- Not one prophesy in the Old Testament has been false
and many have already come to pass exactly has written. This is an
improbable, impossible thing for human beings to do. No one can
predict the future with this much accuracy. Not one person. If you
think so , name one? Just one. If you think you can name one, how
many came true vs. how many did not come true? ALL the prophecy of
the Bible has been fulfilled with 100% accuracy and there are many
more to come. Keep in mind that they will all be fulfilled as it
is written. For some this is a scary thought.
Christianity is THE ONLY faith that does NOT depend
on what we do, but what someone else did for us. All others make
it dependant upon what we can try to attain or achieve or be. But
God knows us better than that. He knows how difficult temptation
to sin is. Jesus went though EVERY temptation known to man kind
and overcame them all. He is alive today, He is sitting on the
right hand of God and we will one day be judged by Him, The Word
of God. He is
God's spoken Word. The book of John tells us of Jesus' Deity and
Lordship from the First line of the book. If you are not sure, you
should read that book. It is not very long. Ask God to show
Himself to you, He will do it if you really want Him to.
So...
Will you reject what
God has done for us? Sending His
ONLY begotten Son, Jesus Christ to die in our
place, taking on our punishments? The act has already happened. We
only need to believe God, acknowledge and accept the Gift God
provided to us freely and for all people. It is a FREE GIFT!
We only need to believe it.
Jesus
Said this in John 6:40 -
And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.
Jesus
Said this in John 6:47
- Truly, truly, I say unto you, He that believes on me has everlasting life.
Are
not those hopeful words?
Will you
choose to reject Jesus Christ? I hope and pray no.

For
There is NO GREATER NAME in heaven or in earth than
Jesus
Christ!
|
Acts 4:10-12 - Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him
does this man stand here before you whole.
[11] This is the stone which was set at nothing of you builders, which is become the head of the corner.
[12] Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is
no other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
For the reason that
there is no greater name in heaven or in earth than the name of
Jesus Christ, we are commanded to NOT take the name of our Lord in
vein. That means flippantly speak His name, using it for profanity
of course, even doing things in His name that are not legitimate.
Using His name as a get out responsibility clause, speak it for no
reason. Any way other than pure reverence is using His name in
vein. When the early writers of the Holy Bible wrote the name of
Jesus Christ in the Old Testament, they had a special pen that
they reserved for use to ONLY write Jesus' name with. How is that
for revering God's name? In today's culture, the only time you
hear the name of Jesus being used by non-Christians is derogatory.
Even some Christians lack this understanding. I do not know how
once you get to know Jesus Christ.
