Does God Enjoy You?

Does God enjoy you? Much is preached and taught about how we can enjoy being a Christian and enjoy staying in touch with God and in His Word. How much we can lean on the Lord in our trouble and for our needs. We need Jesus to be healed and be saved. He did all this for us a long time ago. A preacher always seems to tell us what is beneficial to us about knowing the Lord. This is good and right. But what benefit is it to the Lord to know us? Do we make Him happy? We should live to do so. Is He happy that He saved us? Are we thankful and joyful and a blessing to Jesus? We should be. It is the very least we can do.

King David delighted in The Lord and the Lord was pleased by King David because he did all the Lord told him to do. Do we do all the Lord tells us to do? I don't know many who can make this claim. I don't even know one who can make this claim. I certainly can not. I do know some good people that I suspect might do a lot of what the Lord tells them. I get this from a sermon I heard tonight and the pastor asked the question, "Does God enjoy you" ? He didn't go into detail as I am, he just said it. It really made me wonder and I wont answer the question in full, but as of right now, I'm probably no where near as I should. I'll leave it at that and the question that is the topic of this page... Does Jesus enjoy you?

Salvation

Salvation is what every single human being has to have in order to escape the wrath coming from God towards all sin and people who are still not saved from their own evil ways. Our souls will live on after our mortal bodes have died and decayed. Are you saved? Can you be saved? Can you earn salvation by good deeds? Who will go to Hell? Who will go to heaven? What is sin? I will answer these questions using scripture. Scripture is God's breathed/inspired Word in the form of readable text for our learning, correction, guidance and governing. First, this is how to save your soul from eternal damnation. Jesus paid for you with His own blood!

I John 5:13 - "These things I have written to you... that you may know that you have eternal life."

Salvation in a nutshell is Going to Heaven when we die instead of hell. Being forgiven for those things which you really have no right to be forgiven for and escaping God's wrath that will come to all mankind at the end of these final earth's days. Therefore, since God is willing to forgive us (who are utterly unworthy to be even be looked upon by Him), we should be accepting of His free gift of eternal life, thankful, obedient, patient in all things, and especially quick to forgive other of their sins towards us personally.

How does a person get saved or obtain salvation? It is the most simple thing in the world yet sadly, many will spend eternity in hell. To be saved the bible says you must believe on The Lord Jesus Christ and what He did by His own will on the cross for our sins as our atonement. We must simply believe on Christ Jesus that He was the only one who could be the sacrifice for our sins since He was a perfect man, and that He alone committed the act that is restitution for our sins and nothing we can ever do besides believe this can save our souls. Now of works, lest you should boast.

We need to realize that we do in fact need a savior and that we have transgressed against The Lord.

Have you kept the Ten Commandments your entire life without messing up even one time? Do you think that you're a good person?

Lets take a look...

If you are not sure, PLEASE get out a Holy Bible and read the book of John beginning with the first chapter. After that short book, read the short book of Romans. Before you read, ask God to show Himself to you, ask Him to show that He is real, He will do this for you. He will make it perfectly clear that He is real and alive and loves you. For it is God's will that none perish. (Matthew 18:2-14) What is the Will of God The Father ?

What else must you do to be saved?

After you realize that you do in fact need to be saved, you need to confess your sin to God and repent of it, ASK God to forgive you and repent. Repent simply means to acknowledge that you're wrong, God is right and turn from your owns ways and adopt God's ways as your guidance through the rest of your life. No one can be prefect even after salvation while we live in the flesh, but we must press on to be Christ like.

This is why Jesus Christ of Nazareth, a perfect man who never sinned once had to be born in the flesh body of mankind and be the sacrifice for our sins. No other sacrifice is holy enough for God to accept. No works of ours are ever good enough. - God says in Isaiah 64:6 that our righteousness is as filthy rags to Him. The word 'filthy' [rag] here literally means "menstruous rag". This is our best good that we can try to do in all our strength compared to Him. He is Holy, perfect, blameless and He demands the same from His people. If our good deeds are as filthy rags to God, then how can God even look at us? Because when we are saved, we are clothed and cloaked in Christ Jesus who IS perfect, Holy and Blameless thus we become perfect, Holy and blameless in the eyes of God the Father. THANK JESUS!

And then what?

Once you ask for forgiveness you must Believe in the promise that God will do as He says He will do! and that is it. It really is as simple as that. Trust in the Lord with all your being and he will give you the desires of your heart.

Acts 16:31-And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you shalt be saved, and your house.

The old testament speaks of Abraham believing in God and it was imputed to him as righteousness. There are others that are spoken the same about. You can read about these in Chapter 11 of Hebrews. This chapter is known by believers as one of the main chapters on Faith.

Is it really worth the risk to NOT be saved? I know today's culture, people do not want to believe in God. They think He is out to rob them of their joy when this is a pure lie of the devil. the devil has come to rob, kill, steal and destroy and God is author of joy, peace and love.

John.10:10 - The thief comes not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. Jesus said this in His words! He loves us!

Galatians 5: - 19 -21 speak of the unrighteous fruits of darkness and the natural man who is not saved - 21 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,
20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,
21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

...they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God

The fruits of Holy Spirit are:
in Galatians 5:22-23 God's Word tells us what the fruits of the Holy Spirit are: 22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
[23] Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

...against such there IS NO LAW

Which one would you rather experience? Peace or anxiety?

Again I ask, Isn't this Hopeful? YES IT IS!

God brings us peace, eternal life and life more abundantly and the devils ways and our own ways bring us death, destruction, limitations, anxiety (no peace), anger, regret... anything that is far from peace.

How can anyone choose to ignore so great a salvation?

Jesus Christ, the same yesterday, today and forever!

It appears from reading God's word that we are all born with our names written in the Lambs Book of Life. It this were not so it would seem that we could not be blotted out. Since it states that whoever's name is not blotted out from the Lambs Book of Life will have everlasting life, then there had to have been something there to be blotted out in the first place.

Yes, We want YOUR SOUL!

Hell is REAL

The Book of Life - is your name written in it? I hope so!

Revelation: 3:5 - He that overcomes, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.

Your Time is your life and your life is your time.

God expects us to use our talents, gifts abilities and skills for His will and His purposes. Not to waste them.

Why do you think that He gave them to us? Why are some people interested in some things while others could care less? We are all different and have different passions, but we should all have passions and it is unfair to ourselves to deny our God given rights to these things that make us who we are inside. I don't mean passions that are fleshly or desires that are ungodly, far from that. But rather, what ever you are good at naturally is probably what you should be doing in life. Doesn't that make sense? Why do something that you hate to do when you could probably be the most useful in the field that God gave you an expertise in? Sure occasionally we all have to do things that we don't particularly like to do to accomplish certain goals (and I'm not talking about ethics or morals here), but working and doing the chore portion of what you do can be as rewarding as what you love to do when you see the final results or see a project coming along as planned.

Think of it this way. What if you were told that you only had a few weeks, months or one year left to live? What would you do differently than you are doing now? Because in reality, we have been given a death sentence from the day we were born. We have been dying all along with only a certain amount of time to fulfill God's purpose in our lives.

Hebrews 9:27: For it is appointed unto men once to die, after that the judgment.

We should be very thankful here in America that we have the right to own a bible, that a bible is placed in every hotel/motel for the meantime and preachers are not thrown in jail for hate crimes for preaching what is found in God's Word. The time is coming where it wont be so. Yes even in America. be thankful now and vigilant to not allow this to happen anytime soon. PLEASE give what you can to spread God's Word around the world.
